Jorge Barrosa

The 25-year-old Arizona center fielder remains a developmental prospect in a major league role, offering minimal fantasy value through the first month of 2026 after struggling in his initial MLB season. Barrosa's .179 batting average with just 2 home runs and 9 RBI across 106 at-bats reflects continued offensive inconsistency, and his complete absence of stolen bases limits upside in speed categories despite his centerfield eligibility. The former MiLB.com Organization All-Star faces a critical juncture where sustained playing time depends on immediate offensive improvement, making him a high-risk, low-reward option for most fantasy rosters unless a breakout performance emerges in the coming weeks. Until he demonstrates consistent contact skills and run production at the major league level, Barrosa belongs on the waiver wire rather than in active lineups.
