José Tena

The 25-year-old designated hitter enters 2026 as a depth option at a shallow position, offering modest run-scoring potential but concerning power production through early play. His .220 average and lack of home run output through 150 at-bats represent a step backward from his .243 mark a year ago, signaling continued offensive struggles at the major league level despite his minor league pedigree as an organizational All-Star. Stolen base upside remains limited, with just two swipes through early action, while his ability to drive in runs—hovering around 16 RBI in each of his first two seasons—suggests he's best viewed as a bench contributor rather than a lineup anchor. Fantasy managers should monitor whether Tena can recapture the form that earned him minor league recognition, as his current trajectory offers little appeal in standard leagues.
