Tanner Murray

As a 26-year-old rookie making his MLB debut with the White Sox, Tanner Murray carries significant uncertainty in a limited early-season sample of 28 at-bats that shows a concerning .214 batting average with minimal power production and no stolen base activity. The lack of immediate offensive impact—just one home run and three RBIs to show for his first month—suggests he may struggle to hold regular playing time or fantasy relevance unless the White Sox are willing to give him extended opportunity to develop. Murray offers speculative upside if given consistent at-bats, as young hitters often require time to adjust to big league pitching, but his current profile makes him a risky bench option rather than a roster cornerstone. Fantasy managers should monitor his playing time and performance trajectory closely over the next few weeks before investing significant draft capital in his 2026 season.
